Our staff will welcome you and provide your EAV round-trip train tickets to Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri, together with the information you need for your journey. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled check-in time.

2. Travel by Circumvesuviana train to Pompeii
Make your way to the EAV Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri station.
The journey from Sorrento takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on the train service.

3. Check-in at our Pompeii office and guided tour
When you arrive at Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri, go to our office on the first floor of the red station building, at Via Villa dei Misteri 1.
Complete your check-in and meet your expert guide, who will accompany you on a journey through the ancient city.
The group guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and introduces you to important aspects of Roman daily life through ancient streets, buildings, houses and archaeological remains.
The Pompeii Express entrance ticket is included and prepared in advance to facilitate access to the Archaeological Park. Waiting times may still occur during busy periods or due to entrance checks and procedures.

4. Free time in Pompeii and return to Sorrento
At the end of the guided tour, you do not need to leave the Archaeological Park. You can continue exploring independently and stay as long as you wish, subject to the site's opening hours and regulations.
You will already have your return train ticket to Sorrento. You can therefore make your way back to Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri station and board an available train whenever you are ready, without being tied to the end time of the guided tour.
