Explore Pompeii independently with an audio guide and map included.
Explore Pompeii with an Entrance Ticket, Audio Guide and Map
Discover the Archaeological Park of Pompeii independently with a package that includes a full-price Express entrance ticket, an audio guide device and an informative map. The included ticket is issued through the Artecard system. Our staff will assist you at the collection point, so you do not need to deal with the technical ticket procedures yourself.
Explore Pompeii at Your Own Pace
With the audio guide device, you can listen to explanations, stories and interesting facts about the ancient city's main attractions, including streets, houses, temples, public buildings and theatres. The informative map will help you find your way around the archaeological site.
How It Works
After booking online, go to our Tempio Travel office, located on the first floor of the EAV Circumvesuviana Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri station, at 1 Via Villa dei Misteri. Collect your entrance ticket and audio guide device at our office. You can then proceed to the dedicated entrance at Porta Marina Inferiore, in Piazza Esedra. Access is through the dedicated queue provided for this ticket. Waiting times may still occur, particularly during busy periods.
How to Use the Audio Guide
The device allows you to listen to explanations by selecting the numbers indicated along the route. You can use it without headphones or with your own standard jack headphones, which are not included. A valid identity document is required as a deposit when collecting the device. It will be returned when the audio guide is handed back.
About the Audio Guide Content
The audio guide provides historical information, explanations and suggested points of interest to help you explore Pompeii independently. Archaeological research and restoration work are ongoing, so the content may not include the latest discoveries or every recent change to the visitor routes. Some buildings and areas may be temporarily closed, reopened or subject to changes in accessibility. The audio guide is a self-guided support tool and does not replace a live tour guide.
Take your time, follow the stories and discover every corner of the ancient city at your own pace. Book your ticket with audio guide and map now and get ready for an unforgettable journey into the past!
