Pompeii: 2-Hour Private Tour with Expert Guide – Entrance Tickets Not Included
Discover ancient Pompeii in 2h with an expert guide dedicated exclusively to you
Pompeii is one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Founded over two thousand years ago, it was a thriving city with temples, theatres, shops and beautiful homes. In AD 79, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius buried the city under ash and pumice, preserving buildings, frescoes, streets and everyday objects.
During the tour, your guide will introduce you to some of the archaeological site's most significant places, including the Forum, the centre of political and social life, the ancient thermal baths, patrician houses decorated with frescoes and mosaics, and shops that reveal the commercial life of the Roman city.
Unlike a group tour, this private experience allows you to enjoy a more personal visit, interact directly with your guide, ask questions and explore the topics that interest you most. The itinerary can be tailored to your preferences and the available time, making the visit more engaging and suited to your interests. Entrance tickets to the Pompeii Archaeological Park are not included in the price and must be purchased separately.
Upon request, we can take care of arranging your Pompeii entrance tickets. To organise the tickets, simply provide the full names and ages of all participants. The additional ticket cost can be paid directly at our office on the day of the tour.
At the end of the guided tour, you may remain inside the Archaeological Park and continue exploring independently, subject to the site's opening hours and regulations.
